Purpose
A built-in integer shelf that provides the markup error code number. This shelf can be accessed only from the header and body of markup-error rules.
OmniMark's built in parsers assign each markup warning or error a unique error code number. These numbers are fixed for all future releases of OmniMark, although new ones may be added. These error code numbers provide a reliable way of identifying an error or warning since the message text can change, for example, as a result of user feedback.
All errors produced by the external markup parser interface produce a single error code. You must consult the error message text to determine the error.
