Purpose

Use this function to determine if this version of the Floating Point library is compatible with the version of OmniMark currently in use. For example:

  do unless FP_IsVersionCompatible
     put #error "omfloat library is not compatible with this version of OmniMark%n"
     halt with 1
  done
