Declaration

    attributes modifiable   ldapAttribute  attributes optional
    attribute  remainder    ldapAttribute  attribute optional

Argument definitions

connection: A connection to an LDAP server.

distinct-name: The distinct name of the new entry.

attributes: A shelf of ldapAttribute items and their values.

attribute: A single ldapAttribute and its value. Because this is a remainder argument, it can be repeated as needed.

Purpose

This function adds a directory entry to the LDAP server.

Example:

     include "omldap.xin"
  
     process
        local ldapAttribute my-entry variable
        ...
        ldapAddEntry my-ldap
            name "cn=Brown,Department=HR,o=OmniMark.com"
           attributes my-entry
