Declaration

       from  value    stream          distinct-name
       to    value    stream          new-name

Argument definitions

connection
A connection to an LDAP server.
distinct-name
The current distinct name of the entry (the entry name and the path in the directory). For example, you could define distinct-name as 'distinct-name="cn=Louis Lemieux", Department="R and D", o="OmniMark" '.
new-name
The new name of the entry.


Purpose

This function renames an entry name on an LDAP server.

Example: 

     include "omldap.xin"
  
     process
        local ldapConnection my-ldap
        local ldapAttribute my-entry variable
        ...
        ldapRenameEntry my-ldap
           from cn="Margaretha Geertruida Zelle" o="SpyCenter"
           to   cn="Mata Hari"
