Xerces XML parser (OMXERCES)

The Xerces-based XML parser is an alternative to the built-in XML parser. It can be used to validate instances against XML schemas. It is invoked in a manner similar to OmniMark's built-in SGML and XML parsers: 

  import "omxerces.xmd" prefixed by xerces.
  
  process
     do markup-parse xerces.xml scan file #args[1]
        output "%c"
     done
  
  element #implied
     output "%c"

Usage Note

To use OMXERCES, you must import it into your program using an import declaration such as: 

  import "omxerces.xmd" prefixed by xerces.
