ldap.open |
|
Library: LDAP support (OMLDAP)
 Import: omldap.xmd  |
define external function ldap.open
              value string  host
     on       value integer port     optional
     user     value string  user     optional
     password value string  password optional
Argument definitions
The ldap.open function opens a connection to an LDAP server.
In this example, a connection to an LDAP server is opened and then immediately terminated:
  import "omldap.xmd" prefixed by ldap.

  process
     local ldap.connection my-ldap
     set my-ldap to ldap.open "www.stilo.com"
     ldap.close my-ldap
If your LDAP server is at a different port number, or requires a distinguished name and password for authentication, you may specify these with the ldap.open call. For example:
  import "omldap.xmd" prefixed by ldap.

  process
     local ldap.connection my-ldap

     set my-ldap to ldap.open 'www.stilo.com'
                           on 123
                         user "cn=guest"
                     password "omnimark"
     ldap.close my-ldap
