set key of

Syntax

  set key of  shelf-name indexer?
     to string-expression

Purpose

This action sets the key of the selected item on the indicated shelf to the value of the string-expression. If the item was already keyed, then the previous key is deleted first.

It is an error to set the key of a nonexistent item.
