Library: omdb - high level database access Include: omdb.xin

Return type: Switch Returns:        True if versions are compatible, false otherwise.

Declaration

  define external switch function dbIsVersionCompatible

Use dbIsVersionCompatible to determine if the version of the database library is compatible with the version of OmniMark currently in use.

Requirements

You must include the following line at the beginning of your OmniMark program:

  include "omdb.xin"

None.

Example

  do unless dbIsVersionCompatible
     put #error "omdb library is not compatible with this version of OmniMark%n"
     halt with 1
  done
