Return type: Switch Returns:        True if versions are compatible, false otherwise.

Declaration

  define external switch function FS_IsVersionCompatible

The omfsys library has been deprecated and will be removed from a future version of the language. Use omvfs instead.

This function is used to determine if this version of the File System Utilities library is compatible with the version of OmniMark currently in use. For example:

  do unless FS_IsVersionCompatible
     put #error "omfsys  library is not compatible with this version of OmniMark%n"
     halt with 1
  done
