Introduction to XML Technologies for e-GIFA 1-day introduction to the UK Government's e-GIF initiative and related XML technologiesOverviewThe e-Government Interoperability Framework (e-GIF) is an Internet based approach to enable information to flow seamlessly across public sector organizations and ultimately aimed to provide improved access to information for UK citizens and businesses. Underlying this approach is the adoption of agreed XML standards and technologies. This 1-day introductory course has two objectives. Firstly, it aims to provide a high level introduction to the scope, objectives and technical issues surrounding the e-GIF initiative.
