ASP .NET Conversion Course

A 1 day hands-on course designed for web developers who are currently using ASP and want to progress to ASP.NET

Overview

The course focuses on ASP.NET technology as it is used in Visual Studio.NET. This one-day course is comprised of instructor-led presentations and practical hands-on exercises. The practical sessions are structured to ensure consolidation of theory covered during the instructor-led sessions.

Objectives

On completion of this course, delegates will be able to write simple ASP.NET applications.

Prerequisites

Delegates will have experience of Windows 2000. It is assumed that the delegate has experience as an ASP developer and is knowledgeable about Client Browser / Web Server technologies, HTTP protocol, Request / Response messages and HTML forms and their submission. Familiarization with an object-oriented language is an advantage as the course uses the C# programming language.
